Am I locked into a contract I can't get out of if my business circumstances change?

No. At Sunshine Self Storage, the only fixed part is the three-month minimum, paid when you sign up. After that, you go month to month for as long as you need, and you can leave by giving 30 days' notice.

We use the standard storage agreement from the Self Storage Association of Australasia, the same agreement used across the industry. We have been an SSAA member since 2004 (member no. 51399), and members are bound by the SSAA code of conduct. No fine print designed to trap you.

Here is how it works in practice. Give us 30 days' notice in writing, and email counts. If you leave with less notice, pro-rated fees apply until your move-out date. When you leave, empty the container, leave it clean, and hand back your access card.

If we ever change our prices after your fixed period, we give you at least 28 days' notice. If you don't agree with a change, you can end the agreement with as little as 24 hours' notice.
