What happens if I lose my access card?

Call us straight away on 03 9010 6147, or email [email protected], 8am to 5pm, any day. The sooner you tell us, the sooner we can stop anyone else using your card and get you a new one.

Every customer at Sunshine Self Storage has their own access card and alarm code, so a lost card is about your security as much as your convenience. Under our storage agreement, anyone who gets in using your card is your responsibility, so don't wait to report it.

If you think someone may also know your alarm code, tell us that too.

A replacement card comes with a fee, simply because the cards cost us money to buy. We will tell you the amount upfront.

If you are stuck at the gate because you lost your card, call us. A customer stuck on site is the most urgent call we get. Bruno wrote on Google: "Staff could not have been more helpful when I misplaced my access to the facilities".

To avoid losing it, keep your card with your car keys or in your wallet, and don't keep your alarm code written on the card. Your padlock key is separate, and only you hold it, so keep a spare at home.
