Do you offer smaller storage units as well as containers?

Our smallest option at Sunshine Self Storage is a 10ft shipping container. It holds 16.3 m³ and costs $198 a month. We don't have lockers, cages or small indoor units, because we only do one thing: drive-up container storage.

A 10ft container is smaller than most people expect, and roomier too. It fits a studio apartment's worth of goods, or a tradie's core tool kit and spare stock. It is a good fit for overflow from the garage, a small business's spare stock, or a few pieces of furniture and boxes.

It also comes with everything our bigger containers have. You get drive-up access, so you back up and unload straight in. You get your own access card and alarm code, an anti-theft lockbox for your padlock, and access from 5am to 9pm, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Like all our containers, it is airtight, waterproof and dust-proof.

If you only need a few boxes stored, a container may be more space than you need, and we will tell you that straight. But compare the price per cubic metre with a small indoor unit, and a 10ft often stacks up well.
