Will the container I'm given be in the condition I expect, or could it be worse than I imagined?

Here is the good news: every container at Sunshine Self Storage is a brand-new, one-trip shipping container, and they are all in perfect condition.

Nearly all shipping containers are built in China. Ours were built there, shipped to Australia with cargo once, and then came straight to our yard. They haven't spent years being knocked around ports and ships, so you won't find a tired old box with rusted doors and worn seals.

Your container will be airtight, waterproof and dust-proof, with thick rubber door seals, a three-point locking system and an anti-theft lockbox for your padlock. Inside, a 20ft gives you 5.9m by 2.35m of floor and a 2.39m ceiling.

Our customers back this up. Dominic wrote on Google that "the containers are clean and also the site with easy access to all containers". Lieu said: "The environment is clean and secure."

What you won't get is glitz. Our yard is clean, secure and convenient, but basic. No reception desk and no climate control. That is how we keep prices up to 57% cheaper than the big chains nearby.

When you move in, take a few minutes to look your container over before you load, and take a few photos. If anything isn't right, tell us straight away, before you load, and we will sort it out.
