What ID or documents do I need when I sign up?

Signing up with Sunshine Self Storage is simple and done online. Please provide the following information: your name, phone number, email address and postal address, your payment details (a bank account or credit card for your monthly payments), and photo ID, such as a driver's licence. You read and sign the standard SSAA storage agreement online as part of booking.

We ask for photo ID because we want to keep the goods of all our customers safe. As you would be aware, there are a lot of scams and other issues around, and we want to avoid them. One of the ways we do that is by asking for your photo ID. We never share your information, and we always keep it totally confidential. But we do want to make sure all of our customers are real people storing for legitimate purposes.

If you are booking for a business, have your business name and ABN handy. Tell us and we will set it up.

It also helps to have an alternate contact person in mind. The SSAA agreement has a place for someone we can contact if we can't reach you. After you are set up, keep your details up to date. Under the agreement, you need to tell us within two business days if your contact details change.
