What if I arrive and find my container leaks or has rust spots?

Our containers are meant to be airtight, waterproof and dust-proof, with thick rubber door seals. If water is getting in, that is our problem to fix, not yours to live with.

It helps to know what to look for. Water marks on the floor, damp patches on the walls or ceiling, light showing through anywhere when the doors are shut, or a door seal that is torn or not sitting flat are all signs to call us. Some surface marks or light rust on the outside of a steel container are normal and don't affect what is inside. Rust spots or holes on the inside, or anywhere water could come through, are worth reporting.

Don't confuse condensation with a leak. Moisture that forms inside a container usually comes from damp goods or packing. If you see water but can't find a gap, tell us anyway and we will work out the cause together.
