One 40ft or two 20ft?
One 40ft costs $580 a month. Two 20ft containers cost $598. So if you need double the space, the 40ft is slightly cheaper and keeps everything behind one set of doors.
Two 20ft containers suit you better if you want to keep tools and stock apart, or hand one back when you need less room.
We have only a few 40ft containers, so check the booking page for what is free, or join the waitlist there. You are not charged for joining.
Packing 12 metres
- Put the things you rarely need at the back, and the things you use most near the doors
- Leave a path down the middle so you can reach the back without unloading
- Stack high: heaviest at the bottom, lightest on top
- Draw a map of what is where and stick it on the wall

Built tough
A 40ft weighs over three tonnes empty. It is steel, airtight, waterproof and dust-proof, with thick rubber door seals, because it was built to carry cargo across oceans. Nearly all of our containers are new one-trip containers, used once to bring them here from the factory.
